As a Virtuoso and Fora affiliated advisor, we hold preferred status with Four Seasons Preferred, Rosewood Elite, Hyatt Privé, Marriott STARS & Luminous, Mandarin Oriental Fan Club, and more — meaning complimentary upgrades, hotel credits, early check-in, and other perks at hundreds of luxury properties worldwide. More importantly, we take on all the research, logistics, and coordination — so your vacation starts the moment you walk out the door, not after hours of planning.

Our hotel booking service is completely complimentary — you pay nothing extra, and we work to secure perks you wouldn't get booking direct. For Custom Escapes, we charge a planning fee starting at $350 per week of travel (for up to 4 travelers). This fee reflects the time, expertise, and care we invest in building a trip that's truly yours. It is paid upfront and is nonrefundable.

Your planning fee ensures that we can dedicate the full time and attention your trip deserves — from deep research and sourcing the right partners, to the follow-ups, coordination, and fine-tuning that go into every Custom Escape. Think of it as your guarantee that your trip has our undivided focus. We only take on a limited number of clients at a time, and your planning fee reserves that attention for you.

We don't book Airbnb or VRBO properties. Our clients expect a consistent, high standard of quality and service at every stop — and individually managed properties simply don't offer the accountability or assurances we require. That said, we do work with select private villas through vetted operators who meet our quality standards, so if a villa experience is on your wish list, let's talk.

We aren't able to book trips using reward points or miles. If you have points you'd like to use, we'd recommend exploring transferring them to a preferred airline partner for maximum value on flights. For the hotel and experience components, we'd love to step in and ensure everything is handled beautifully.

We don't book standalone flights, but flights are included as part of our Custom Escape service when we're managing the full trip. We book premium economy or business class only, and a $50 booking fee per flight applies.

The earlier the better — especially for peak travel seasons or destinations with limited availability (African safari camps, in particular, can book out 12+ months in advance). That said, reach out regardless of your timeline and we'll always be transparent about what's possible given your timeframe.

We specialize in African safari travel, Asia, and Europe — with deep expertise in crafting journeys that go beyond the surface of each destination. We also love helping clients plan special occasions like honeymoons, babymoons, anniversaries, and milestone trips, anywhere in the world.

Our planning fee is nonrefundable, as it covers the time and research invested in designing your trip. For hotels, tours, and other supplier bookings, cancellation policies vary by provider — some offer flexible terms, while others have stricter timelines. We'll walk you through every policy before anything is confirmed, so you always know exactly where you stand before committing.

We strongly recommend it. Unexpected things happen — flight disruptions, medical emergencies, weather events — and the right policy ensures your investment is protected. We can help arrange comprehensive travel insurance as part of your booking so you're covered before you leave home.
